We gladly welcome new members to the Napa Valley branch of the IWFS. Our membership is limited to about 40 couples but is not otherwise exclusive. New members must be sponsored by current, active branch members. To ensure high standards and quality, most of our events are limited to a maximum of 30 - 40 participants.
One of our goals is to increase our members' appreciation of wine and food as an essential ingredient to personal contentment and good health. Our activities consist of wine tastings, lunches, seminars, winery visits, gourmet dinners and cooking demonstrations. We provide interesting events within a range of prices to encourage the participation of our members of all ages and economic circumstance. Our objectives are primarily social, gastronomic and educational in nature. We also promote the consumption of American, particularly Napa Valley, wines.
Our annual dues are $125 per year for both individuals and couples. There is a one-time initiation fee of $50 per person. Single members pay the same dues as couples, and therefore may bring one guest to each event at the member price.
